For a rectangular growing area, a linear lamp-moving system is preferred. The self-propelled Light Rail 3.5 is without question the finest linear lamp-mover available. It uses no pulleys, chains, or gears. Simply mount the standard 6.5' track (the 6.5' rail is considered oversize, so cannot be shipped. We will replace it with two 3.5' rails) to the desired area and place the lamp-moving drive motor onto the track. The Light Rail 3.5 is supplied with adjustable switch stops, so lamp travel can be any length you wish. The 10 RPM Fast Drive travels approximately 4' per minute, and is equipped with Intelli Drive integrated PCB Circuitry that will give you the control you are looking for. With an adjustable 0-60 second time delay you can "fine tune" the length of delay at each end of your lamp's travel to meet your gardens ever changing needs. Add an additional 3.5' track to extend your track to 9'. Use an Add-A-Lamp system to accommodate 2 lamps running in line over a 12 foot span. The Robo Stick is the adjustable lamp attaching device that positions, balances and stabilizes your lamp as you mount it to your Light Rail 3.5 Intelli Drive.
